SITUATION (how to get there)

The club is located on the southern shore of Boskop Dam north of Potchefstroom.

From Johannesburg take the N1 South (concrete higway). Turn off at the Kimberley/Potchefstroom exit. On the Potchefstroom road (N12), turn right after passing the Libanon Mine at the Carletonville turnoff (R501). Take this road past Carletonville. It joins the Oberholzer-Potchefstroom road (still the R501 after the intersection) which goes past Boskop Dam on the right. At the Welgegund sign turn right (BYC sign with Dolphin) and right again after +/- 200 m into the second dirt road turnoff. Follow the right fork to the club.

Dinghies: All , especially Laser, Fireball, Flying Dutchman, Sprog, Finn, Gypsy, Optimist, Dabchick.

Catamarans: Dart, Hobie, Halcat

FACILITIES

Extensive lawns and shady trees with caravan and camping welcomed. There are rondavels available on request well in advance and members have generously made their caravans available on special occassions. The club house has a TV room, Tea Lounge, pool table and a popular bar. Galley services are available for regattas and championships, but otherwise can be used by members and visitors. There are braai facilities. Ablution facilities can cater for up to 120+ boats.
